Raised by his devoted mother alongside his three siblings, Thorin's childhood was shaped by the shadows of his father's imprisonment. Despite the hardships he faced, Thorin displayed a natural inclination towards rhythm and percussion from a young age, finding solace and expression through the primal beats of the drums.

Thorin's affinity for music served as a beacon of light amidst the darkness that surrounded him, offering an outlet for his boundless energy and restless spirit. Diagnosed with ADHD at the tender age of 6, Thorin's hyperactivity found release in the thunderous cadence of the drums, a passion that would accompany him throughout his life.

However, Thorin's adolescence was marked by rebellion and defiance, as he followed in his father's footsteps and became ensnared in the allure of a small biker gang at the age of 16. By the time his father was sentenced to a decade behind bars, Thorin had already embarked on a dangerous path of his own, navigating the treacherous terrain of teenage rebellion and youthful indiscretion.

At 19, Thorin found himself incarcerated in Halden prison, serving a one-year sentence for his involvement in illicit activities. It was during his time behind bars that Thorin found himself drawn deeper into the subversive world of heavy music, as his cellmates introduced him to the abrasive sounds of American thrash metal and Swedish death metal.

Inspired by the intensity and aggression of these newfound musical genres, Thorin emerged from prison with a newfound sense of purpose and determination. Rejecting the conventional path of higher education, Thorin sought refuge in the pulsating rhythms of the drum kit, honing his skills and refining his craft with relentless dedication.

In a twist of fate, Thorin's path intersected with that of Malediktum, when he chanced upon Dante Stavig's advertisement for a drummer in Leo Sölvi's musical zine. Fuelled by a bold determination and an unyielding passion for music, Thorin seized the opportunity to audition for the band, showing up unannounced at the Inferno shop and leaving an indelible impression on Blake and Dante with his raw talent and undeniable charisma.

From that moment onward, Thorin's thunderous percussion would serve as the rhythmic heartbeat of Malediktum, propelling the band to new heights of sonic intensity and artistic innovation. His journey from the depths of adversity to the pinnacle of musical achievement stands as a testament to the transformative power of passion and perseverance, inspiring generations of metalheads to embrace their inner fire and forge their own path in the world of music.
